Nike Phantom Venom Elite FG Black/Metallic Vivid Gold

The Nike Phantom Venom Elite FG replaced the Hypervenom as Nike's shooting boot, built around what Nike called modernized T90 DNA. This is the "Black Lux" edition in Black and Metallic Vivid Gold, the second colorway the silo received and part of Nike's first boot pack of 2019. Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane were among the players who switched onto the silo at launch.

The upper is full Flyknit under a layer of NikeSkin. Nike moved the lacing off-center and ran Flyknit over the lower eyelets, opening the strike area 30 percent wider than the Hypervenom's. In it sits the Precision Pwr strike zone: thirteen molded ridges at ascending heights and set angles, meant to grip the ball and keep mis-hit shots down.

Underneath is the HyperReactive plate, chevron blades from toe to heel and no conical studs. These firm-ground soccer cleats are long out of production.

This pair is available in US 9.5 and US 10, brand new in original box, with string bag included. Sizing guidance at launch was a half size up across the Venom range.
