The Nike Air Zoom Mercurial Vapor 16 Elite SG-Pro in Grey, Safari Orange and Black is a Player Edition boot from the 2024 Electric Pack, Nike's collection for that summer's Olympics, released July 24, 2024. The look pairs a light grey upper with a Safari graphic in Total Orange and Black.
The upper blends Gripknit, AtomKnit and Flyknit into what Nike calls the thinnest Mercurial upper yet, built to cut break-in time and keep the foot close to the ball. A 3/4-length Air Zoom unit sits in the sole, tuned to elite-level specs, under a wave-shaped traction pattern with chevron studs for grip through acceleration and sharp cuts. As an SG-Pro build, the screw-in studs are made for soft, wet grass and can be swapped out as they wear.
This pair is a US 9, brand new. Runs true to size but narrow through the midfoot. Mercurials have always fit this way, so if you're between sizes or have a wider foot, sizing up half a size is worth considering.
