The Nike CTR360 Maestri III was the third generation of Nike's control boot for playmakers, released in August 2012 as a full redesign of the line. It was also the first boot to feature All Conditions Control, a treatment for consistent touch in wet and dry weather that Nike later rolled out across its other silos. This pair is in Total Crimson and Black.
The upper is Kanga-Lite synthetic with a dimpled midfoot texture for friction on the ball. On the instep, the old pass pad gives way to a 3D control pad of raised fins that hug the arch, and asymmetric lacing opens up a larger area for receiving and passing. Two lines of stitching across the forefoot let the upper flex naturally and mold to the foot. Underneath, the revamped FG plate uses rounded studs placed for 360-degree movement.
