The adidas F50 adiZero was the lightest football boot in the world when it launched in May 2010, and this leather version comes in Sun Yellow, Black and Gold, the colours adidas's F50 players wore at the World Cup in South Africa that summer, Jermain Defoe among them. This is the original 2010 release. Adidas reissued the design in 2025.

The adiZero came with a choice of SprintSkin synthetic or leather. This version uses full-grain Galeo cow leather across the front half of the upper, stitched into pockets for cushioning and touch, and drops the internal TPU support bands the synthetic needed, adding only a few grams. Asymmetric lacing clears a wider kicking surface, and a narrow, thumb-width heel piece holds the foot in place.

Underneath is the same SprintFrame outsole and TRAXION studs as the synthetic.

The Nike Tiempo Legend 7 Elite FG in Armory Blue, Black and Hyper Crimson is part of the 2019 Victory Pack, released that May as Nike's boot for that summer's Women's World Cup in France. The design nods to Nike, the Greek goddess of victory, with a scale-and-feather graphic running through the pack.

The upper is kangaroo leather over a four-layer build: leather, a foam skeleton, a nylon insert, and Nike's Fit-Mesh lining underneath, which keeps the leather from stretching out of shape over time. It was the first Tiempo to bring in Flyknit, woven through the heel and midfoot with adjustable Flywire cables, cutting weight from the previous generation while keeping the seamless leather toebox that's always defined this line. Underneath sits the Hyperstability soleplate, a departure from the Tiempo's traditional plate, paired with All Conditions Control texture on the upper for grip on the ball in the wet.

The Nike Mercurial Superfly V was the fifth Superfly, previewed at Nike's Innovation 2016 event and built as a complete speed system. This Black, White and Electric Green colourway arrived on November 25, 2016 as part of the Dark Lightning pack, Nike's low-key winter collection of black uppers, white Swooshes and a single bright accent across its four main silos.

The upper is one-piece Flyknit with a 3D "speed rib" texture and Nike's All Conditions Control finish for consistent grip on the ball, wet or dry, rising into the Dynamic Fit Collar.

Underneath, the plate was rebuilt from scratch: a compressed nylon chassis shaped to the contours of the foot, which Nike said was 40% lighter than the Superfly IV's carbon fiber plate, with an all-new stud layout.

This pair is a US 8.5, brand new in original box, with string bag included. Like earlier Superflys it starts tight, particularly through the heel, and naturally suits a narrower foot, though the Flyknit gives enough to make it the most accommodating Superfly up to that point.
