The Nike Tiempo Legend 8 Elite FG in Black and Blue Hero is the "Under The Radar" launch colorway for the Legend 8, released in June 2019 as part of a blackout collection spanning Nike's whole boot lineup that year.
The Legend 8 marked a real shift for the Tiempo line: heat-pressed diamond quilting on the K-leather itself replaces the old foam ridges for texture, four-way-stretch Quadfit mesh wraps the midfoot, and a Flyknit fit tunnel, without the Flywire cables of the 7, gives it a snug, sock-like hold instead. NikeGrip lining keeps the foot from sliding inside the boot, and ACC coating holds ball touch steady in wet or dry conditions. It sits on the Hyperstability soleplate, a mix of conical studs, chevrons, and blade studs for quick digging-in and stable planting.
