The Nike Mercurial Superfly 5 FG Tech Craft took Nike's speed silo and rebuilt the forefoot in kangaroo leather. It arrived in November 2016 as part of the Tech Craft Pack 2.0, alongside leather versions of the Mercurial Vapor XI, Magista Obra 2 and Hypervenom Phantom, all-black uppers with a  silver Swoosh, launched as a set.

Nike called the hide Alegria, cut from the softest parts of the kangaroo and embossed for a softer touch. K-Fuse bonds the leather forefoot to the soleplate without stitching, so the visible stitching sits outboard where the leather meets the Flyknit. The rest of the upper is textured Flyknit with Speed Rib cabling, 1mm at the heel tapering to 2.5mm through the forefoot, and the leather carries Nike's All Conditions Control treatment. A Flyknit Dynamic Fit Collar handles lockdown through the ankle.

Underneath is a single-layer anatomical nylon chassis with a split-toe forefoot, which Nike claimed was 40% lighter than the carbon plate on the Superfly IV. Chevron blades sit at the forefoot for toe-off acceleration.

This pair is a US 9, brand new without original box, with string bag included. Length is true to size. The fit runs narrow, though the Flyknit gives more than earlier Superfly generations, and Mercurials of this era start tight.

The Nike Mercurial Superfly V was the fifth Superfly, previewed at Nike's Innovation 2016 event and built as a complete speed system. This Black, White and Electric Green colourway arrived on November 25, 2016 as part of the Dark Lightning pack, Nike's low-key winter collection of black uppers, white Swooshes and a single bright accent across its four main silos.

The upper is one-piece Flyknit with a 3D "speed rib" texture and Nike's All Conditions Control finish for consistent grip on the ball, wet or dry, rising into the Dynamic Fit Collar.

Underneath, the plate was rebuilt from scratch: a compressed nylon chassis shaped to the contours of the foot, which Nike said was 40% lighter than the Superfly IV's carbon fiber plate, with an all-new stud layout.

This pair is a US 8.5, brand new in original box, with string bag included. Like earlier Superflys it starts tight, particularly through the heel, and naturally suits a narrower foot, though the Flyknit gives enough to make it the most accommodating Superfly up to that point.

The Nike Mercurial Vapor 11 FG is the eleventh generation of Nike's speed boot, launched in 2016. It is the low-cut Mercurial of its generation, built around a one-piece Teijin upper with a Speed Rib texture and no traditional tongue. This pair is the Black / White / Dark Grey colorway, now out of production.

The ultra-thin upper is finished with raised horizontal ribs designed for closer control at high speed, and All Conditions Control keeps the touch consistent in wet or dry weather. With the tongue integrated into the upper, the midfoot gets an extra level of snugness.

Underneath is a one-piece nylon soleplate. Every stud has the same shape but is rotated in a different direction for traction on firm ground.

The Nike Mercurial Vapor 12 Elite SG-Pro in Wolf Grey, Black and Armory Blue is Mercurial's colorway from the 2019 "Victory Pack," released ahead of that summer's Women's World Cup in France. The pack takes its design language from Greek mythology, Nike, the goddess of victory, echoing the Winged Victory of Samothrace statue housed in the Louvre.

The upper is full Flyknit with a microtextured coating for closer control on the ball, finished with NikeSkin treatment for a light, breathable, snug fit and All Conditions Control for consistent grip in the wet. NikeGRIP tech underfoot helps keep the foot from sliding inside the boot during hard cuts. As an SG-Pro build, the studs are screw-in and aggressively shaped for acceleration and traction on soft, wet natural grass — swap them as they wear.

This pair is a US 9, brand new with minor defects (visible writing on either side of the instep above the soleplate). Runs true to size with the close, low-cut fit the Vapor line is known for.

The Nike Mercurial Vapor 12 Elite in Total Orange and Black is the launch colourway of the twelfth Vapor, which arrived in February 2018 with a completely new construction. Nike previewed the colour across its other boots in the Fast AF pack, short for Fast Audacious Football. This is the AG-Pro version, built for artificial grass.

The headline change was 360 Flyknit: a single knitted piece that wraps the entire foot, treated with an ultra-thin NikeSkin layer and an All Conditions Control coating for grip on the ball in wet and dry conditions. A suede-like heel lining with perforations adds lockdown and breathability. Underneath, an internal Pebax chassis pairs with a two-piece nylon plate under the heel and forefoot, with angled studs for acceleration, cutting and braking, and a contoured NikeGrip insole.

The Nike Mercurial Vapor 13 Elite was the generation that brought Nike's Aerotrak zone to the Vapor soleplate. It launched in July 2019, building on the 360-degree Flyknit of the Vapor 12, and ran until the Vapor 14 took over in January 2021. This pair is in Laser Orange, Black and White.

The upper is 360-degree Flyknit made with high-tenacity yarn over a one-piece lining, finished with an ultra-thin NikeSkin overlay and an All Conditions Control coating for consistent touch in wet and dry conditions.

Underneath, the lightweight forefoot plate carries the micro-grooved Aerotrak zone, and angular studs work with a stiffer chassis for acceleration. Inside, a NikeGrip insole keeps the foot from sliding.

This pair is a US 10.5, brand new in original box, with string bag included. The Vapor 13 has a snug, contoured Mercurial fit best suited to narrow and medium feet.
