The Adidas F50 adiZero TRX FG Messi in White, Black and Slime is the "Fast or Fail" colorway, released March 4, 2014 — Messi's own signature drop rather than the standard Battle Pack worn at that summer's World Cup. Instead of the pack's black-and-white split, this one runs a white base with Samba-inspired color dripping vertically down the sides in orange, pink, blue and green, a bright green "Solar Slime" soleplate with pink studs, and Messi's "M" emblem on the heel in black.

The upper is made entirely from HybridTouch synthetic. At the time, Messi's boots had always skipped the SpeedFoil heel panel other F50 adiZero colorways used, for a more consistent feel across the whole foot. It sits on Adidas's SprintFrame outsole, tuned for acceleration and quick direction changes on firm ground.

This pair is a US 9, brand new in original box, with replacement insoles included. Runs true to size but snug — a tight, locked-in fit that suits average-to-narrow feet best, with some initial tightness through the first couple of wears before the upper eases in.

The adidas X 18+ was adidas' first laceless X. Adidas' signature speed silo at the time. Released in May 2018 for the World Cup in Russia as part of the Energy Mode pack, it was worn at the tournament by Mohamed Salah and Gabriel Jesus.

The upper is Skeletal Weave over ultra-soft Speedmesh: an ultra-thin woven grid that holds its shape rather than moulding to the foot, with the give coming from padding over the toes and instep. A low-cut Claw Collar and 3D moulded heel handle lockdown in place of laces.  

Underneath is the Speedframe outsole, arrowhead studs at the forefoot and rounded at the heel. Reviewers at the time called it the best-fitting laceless boot adidas had made.  

This pair is a US 9, brand new in original box, with string bag and shoe horn included. Fits true to size. The laceless build is snug through the midfoot but not narrow, and there's little to no break-in.
